Hamish Palmer

Hamish is an experienced gaffer and lighting technician. Inclusive and diverse filmmaking is at the forefront of their mind when bringing together an LX team. Hamish is passionate about creating safe, progressive and supportive workplaces.
Recently, Hamish has lit feature films Pasa Faho, Strange Creatures, My Melbourne, webseries Videoland, Urvi Went to an All Girls School and other commercial, content + creative projects.
Hamish is slated to gaff the upcoming feature film Sweet Milk Lake.

Experienced 2nd AC, Broadcast Camera Operator and emerging Arri Trinity 2 Owner/Operator based out of Melbourne, Australia. Recently working on projects such as Shantaram, Labrea Season 2 and managing the construction and roll out of two Virtual Production Stages at NantStudios as the Senior Virtual Production Stage Manager.

I\’m also a passionate PADI Rescue Scuba Diver, coffee lover and sport nerd.

Madi \’Maddog\’ Southorn (She/They) is a freelance camera assistant working mostly in longform drama as well as offshore and TVC projects. With a passion for filmmaking and working amongst other remarkable professionals, they have been stepping into camera and steadicam operating over the past few years in long form drama and short form.

Marty Smith SOC

Marty has over 25 years of experience in the industry and has been fortunate to work with some of the industry’s most well respected DP’s from around the world.

He has experience across all genres of drama as both operator and as a 2nd Unit DP, and has worked on large budget international projects as well as local films and television.

He is an experienced operator of Steadicam along with geared and remote heads.

He is an active member of the Society of Camera Operators
